Data, method and licences

The five integrated sites use the sources declared for the Côte d’Azur and the same production checks as Réunion.

Aerial imagery

Aerial views use IGN BD ORTHO, with the capture date retained for each site.

Regional relief

The selection map uses the validated GEBCO 2024 regional relief; all five markers come from declared coordinates.

Cartographic processing

Production method

The code and website interfaces were generated entirely with AI under human direction, then visually reviewed and validated against the source data.

  • Sources and cache validationEach configuration declares the SHOM prepackages and their exact members. The pipeline checks extents, resolution, content and fingerprints before rendering.
  • Continuous land-sea surfaceProcessing follows each site’s source contract. Positive depths and signed elevations remain separate from NoData areas.
  • Maps and perspectivesThe 2D maps, 3D posters, framing and vertical exaggeration are defined by each site configuration; integrated renders remain unchanged.
  • Interactive terrain and Web formatsEach Web package keeps its height field, masks and topographic and aerial textures, together with the consolidated JPEG downloads.
